First of all I would like to say terrific blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not
mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear
your thoughts prior to writing. I have had trouble clearing my
mind in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Thank you!

Thank you for the positive feedback regarding my blog. I’m pleased to hear you enjoy what I write.
Yes, centering yourself and clearing your thoughts can be difficult. Its something I struggle with myself. If you are a “morning person” you could get up an hour or two before everyone else in your house, sit quietly somewhere in a chair, on the floor, in the garden or anywhere peaceful and try to center your thoughts and then just start writing.
I hate getting up early in the morning so my quiet, centering time is usually at night when everyone else is asleep which is usually between 23:00 and 00:00. That’s usually when I write best.
Most of the time, I actually start a blog during the day – write down an idea and start writing bullet points of ideas that come into my head around that idea so when I finally sit down for my “quiet time” then I can just complete the post into structured sentences, add a topic and pictures.
You have to see what system works best for you.
